Design Concept
A study in botanical architecture and romanticism. The Crimson Arboretum explores the transition from a structured, minimalist bodice to a chaotic, organic explosion of floral life. This piece is designed for the modern elite who demands a silhouette that is both sharp and ethereal, blending the precision of a corset with the fluidity of a garden in bloom.
Design & Silhouette
• The Bodice: A precision-engineered sweetheart neckline featuring internal architectural boning. It is designed to provide a sculpted, cinched-waist effect that remains comfortable through high-tension tailoring.
• The Skirt: A voluminous cathedral-length ballgown skirt. It utilizes extensive gathered layering to create a "cloud-like" movement, reinforced at the hem with hidden horsehair braiding to maintain a permanent structural flare.
• The Accents: An asymmetrical "Floral Path" consisting of over 50 hand-crafted 3D silk roses. These blooms spill diagonally from the waist to the hem, accented with hidden crystal dewdrops that catch light with every movement.
Material Identification
• Bodice: Pure Silk-Organza overlay for a refined matte luster, backed by Pure Cotton Popline Twill for structural support.
• Skirt: Royal Micro-Tulle (outer layers) and Pure Mulberry Silk (premium interior lining) for a hypoallergenic, temperature-regulating finish.
• Accents: Pure Silk Habotai for hand-pressed floral elements and 4-inch Synthetic Horsehair Braid for hem support.
• Fastening: A concealed center-back industrial zipper reinforced with a decorative overlay of hand-covered silk buttons extending to the lower hip.
Construction & Craftsmanship
• Internal Frame: Multi-point flex-boning integrated into the bodice to ensure a flawless fit without the need for additional undergarments.
• Artisanal Detailing: Each rose is individually hand-dyed in varying rouge tones and heat-pressed to mimic the organic veins of a natural petal.
• The Hemline: Finished with a circular-cut "spring" hem to ensure floor clearance and prevent the tulle from collapsing under the weight of the 3D flowers.
